Guest of Honor Banquet!

Start off your convention at our exclusive Guest of Honor Banquet held Thursday evening prior to opening ceremonies. The banquet features a full buffet dinner during which you will have the chance to converse with a Guest of Honor or special guest seated at your table.

Meet other fans and make new friends. Win fabulous door prizes! This year your attendance at the banquet includes an entry into the Norwescon raffle. After dinner the room expands, and you can stay to enjoy opening ceremonies. Tickets are $80 per person and can be purchased using our registration kiosk at https://cm.norwescon.org/kiosk/web_reg/ If you have questions, or have particular dietary needs, please email tonya@norwescon.org.

Norwescon Staff Winter Holiday Party!

Our upcoming December 8th convention committee meeting is a great time to join us!

Immediately following our 12/8 staff meeting, we are holding a winter holiday party at the hotel. Festive holiday food will be provided and we ask that you bring a dessert to share. If you wish to participate in our gift exchange, bring a geeky, wrapped gift with an approximate value between $10 and $25. (Please indicate whether the gift is appropriate for children.)

Information about our monthly meetings at is available at: http://www.norwescon.org/get-involved/volunteers/

Norwescon is entirely run by volunteers. You can find a list of open positions we are seeking to fill on our website:

Teen Runners Lives Again!

Do you have a teen that wants to learn the inner workings of Norwescon? They can be a Teen Runner! Teen Runners is being revived and is looking for teens to join the convention committee. Bring them to a meeting and let them get involved while learning useful team-building skills. As a bonus, Norwescon is a 501(c)3, so their assistance will count toward volunteer hours that many schools require. Contact teenrunners@norwescon.org if you have any questions.

We've Got Games!

The Norwescon Games Department is cooking up some fun games and activities, including Fancy Friday Game Night! Put on your fancy duds, costumes, tiaras, or all of the above, and join us for an excellent time playing games on Friday night, right next door to the dance! We will post more information as we get closer to the show.

The Games Team is also ready for your submissions for our Scheduled Games rooms. We're looking for board games, card games, miniatures games, and role-playing games. If you wish to submit a game for our schedule, you can fill out our submissions form. We are looking for introductory level RPGs and newbie-friendly board/card games, as well as experienced player sessions. Submit your games here!

Have questions about everything games? Email games@norwescon.org

Storage!

Did you know it takes a lot of stuff to put on our convention each year? Where does that stuff go when not in use? It goes to STORAGE. Norwescon is currently looking for a large warehouse space or storage solution in the Tukwila area that we can rent or lease at a reasonable rate. If you know of something or would like to help our storage committee, please email our Vice Chair at tonya@norwescon.org
