Thank you, Fairwood Writers!

The longtime association between Norwescon and Fairwood Writers is coming to a close. For many years, Fairwood Writers sponsored the writing workshop at Norwescon, organizing all the incoming manuscripts from hopeful writers, managing staffing, and facilitating the critique sessions. Norwescon is eternally grateful for Fairwood's friendship and their commitment to the writing community here in the Pacific Northwest.

You can find information on the new Norwescon Writers Workshop by selecting this link.

Norwescon Writing Workshop - Applications open through 12/9/18!

Applications are now being accepted for the Norwescon Writers Workshop. The workshop format is a Milford- style, peer-to-peer critique facilitated by professional writers, editors, and agents. We will accept short story and novel excerpts in the science fiction, fantasy, and horror genres. Writers ages 18+ of all skill levels are encouraged to apply. There are no additional fees beyond your Norwescon membership.

Host: Kathy Bond (A dragon will mark the spot!)
Time: Sunday, October 28, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Place:Third Place Books, Lake Forest Park
