You'll also enjoy learning more about Norwescon's community outreach initiatives. Special swag will be available as well.
Tickets for this special event may be purchased when you purchase your membership. If you have already purchased your membership, you can go back into your account and add on as many tickets as you'd like. To do that, click on the registration button on the main page and then fill in your account information. If you need help, please feel free to reach out to registration@norwescon.org with any questions.
Pro Invites Have Gone Out!
Our first round of pro invitations has gone out! While it is our policy to invite a variety of alternates and additional people as needs arise, if you have not yet received an invitation to be a pro and you have checked your spam filters, it is unlikely you will be invited for this upcoming year. Please inquire again next summer for Norwescon 42!
Norwescon Art Show Now Accepting Applications!

We would like you to be part of our community! Youth Writers Workshop
Youth Writers Workshop
Date: November 11, 2017
Time: 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Cost: $6 per youth attending (includes museum admission for the day)
Do you want to write a story for the Write Out of This World contest? MoPOP is excited to partner with The Fairwood Writers group and Norwescon by offering a special event to help students prepare for the call for submissions for our 2018 Write Out of This World contest. Professional science fiction and fantasy writer coaches will help you develop ideas for a strange world, an adventurous hero or heroine to explore it, and the problems this character has to overcome. Drawing inspiration from a tour of "Infinite Worlds of Science Fiction," you will brainstorm, try out ideas, and get fueled and ready to launch a terrific story for the contest. Plan to dream big and learn about the elements of science fiction and fantasy storytelling in this workshop for serious young writers.
Parents/guardians may purchase additional tickets to tour the museum at our reduced education rate of $6 per person or may relax in the museum's café for the duration of the workshop free of charge.
