Northwest College of Art & Design Scholarship
The recipient of this year's scholarship is Leanne Dunn. This is Leanne's second year of participating in the scholarship process and is also her second win. Norwescon congratulates Leanne and hopes that she has a bright and successful future. Kelsa Dill and Michael Young also presented outstanding work as part of this contest and received great praise. Thank you all for taking part in this year's event.
Norwescon36 Art Show Awards
Norwescon was graced with an amazing crop of artists this year. As usual, two separate sets of awards were presented the Judges' Awards and the People's Choice awards.
Norwescon would like to thank this year's panel of judges including Betty Bigely and Don Lacky for their generous time and knowledge in helping judge this year's show. A complete listing of this years awards is available here.
Norwescon is a science, science fiction and fantasy convention that takes place on Easter Weekend each year. We are an all-volunteer organization and always have room for more dedicated volunteers. Without members, though, there would be no reason to hold a convention; thank you for your support!
Sincerely,
Norwescon Publications Team
