Check out the Dealer’s Room
There are so many cool things to see, read, touch, taste, smell, try on and generally ooo and aaah over. The Dealers' Room is directly across the Fishbowl atrium from the Grands. And be aware, it closes at 4 p.m. today.
As this is the last day of Norwescon, our time together is counting down – just like a rocket readying for take off. Soon I’ll be latching the doors on not only the Dealer’s Room, but all convention services.
I hope you had a great time!
… JP Latches locking down …
And don’t forget about Writers' Row!
Have you noticed the tables right outside of the Dealer’s Room and in the con lobby behind Registration? They aren’t overflow tables; they are there on purpose. That’s Writers' Row!
You know how important books are to me, as a wyvern library hybrid. Well, NWC has always had a strong literary focus, too. Writers are important! Check out their tables and talk to them about their creative endeavors.

Comedy at NWC
The improvisation artists at D&Dprov were one of the teams that brought their geeky and hilarious comedy to Norwescon 47.
Overheard…

- Observed by 13-year-old, “There are way too many people at this con in wheelchairs that are not decorated like rockets or dragons.”
- “I saw this great moment of camaraderie - on a landing in the stairwell, no less! One guy was helping another to adjust the cuffs of his Star Trek TOS uniform pants into his boot tops. Wherever & whenever, con folks are there.”
- “It’s not like I became a cool person. I’m still just an accountant!.”
- OH at the library maker-spaces panel: “We love to not have rules. We love making art, not rules.”
- “We don’t have a physical trophy, so we haven’t had the awkwardness of handing someone a Dick.” – Gordon Van Gelder regarding the Philip K Dick Award.
- “I hate it when you lose body parts.”
